New update alters the way the tax is created. If you have an existing installation, you may have to edit the tax table to give correct results. There seems to be problems with the backup facility on Windows 7 systems. I am working on this.

There is a default password inserted when you start the program. Just press Tab key.

I appear to have succesfully downloaded the program but when I open it I am asked for a login password. What is that? (Sorry if this appears to be the bleeding obvious)http://

I will no longer be fully supporting the Solo version. This means that there will be no new features, although if any faults are repoted, I will still endeavour to fix them.
The reason for this is that the Pro (Network) version has now reached the point of being more capable than the Solo version, and it seems foolish to duplicate effort. IUf you experience problems with moving to the Pro version, do get in touch. |

The latest upload has a backing up facility built in. If you have a web server, you can back up the database each time you shut down ProffittCenter Pro on the PC that has the server running on it. Details of setting this up are included in the help files, but let us know if you experience anty problems.

Before we go further, check that you have not installed the Windows driver for the printer as this always causes problems.

On further reflection, I suspect it is down to the sounds system. Can you plat audio? particularly .wav files.
